well, all is now pretty much planned for the move...
I am hiring and driving a BIG car, something like a Ford Galaxy... much eekage about that having not driven since I passed my test 4 yrs ago... but I'm getting the car the day before I'm moving so I can go out and about in it a bit to get used to it, mum and I figure it'll be getting used to the car and pedals that'll be the worst bit, otherwise once I'm out on the road I'll be fine.
I'm going to drive over to Andy's first and pick him up, then go on down to my new place.

EEK! MY place... all to myself... oh how grown up... hehe...

I also have a food shop being delivered the night I move in, and my new big bed is beign delivered the day after...
how organised am I?!

only thing that could throw a spanner in the works now is if Andy's interview on Wednesday overruns so that we cant leave his place before 3.30pm... that's the absolute latest I want to leave his, ideally I want to leave before 3, but an error margin has to be allowed. The other thing I guess that could upset things is if the estate agents decide to get finicky about how long they've had the deposit money for (they say they have to have it "5 days before the tennancy commences", which may not be met... but the contract I signed said "on or before the day" it commences, which will definatley have been met, so I'm going with that if they get fussy), or if they've not been able to get the landlord to sign the contract yet... which will be a bit of a big bugger... and I'm not sure what to do about that... I'll make sure to call the agency tomorrow and double check. Cos I also want to know if I'll have electricity in the flat when I get there too. I've been told the agents are sorting out the water, elec and council tax and that I'll get the details when I get there... but I dont know what that means... I also dont knwo yet if there's a phone line in the flat, I cant imagine there woudlnt be tho, but I'll still have to sort out an internet connection, which may take a couple of weeks

and then there's drinks with workmates-to-be that my manager has said she'll organise...

I'm just really looking forward to it all right now, my own place, a proper job, a great guy... what more does a girl need?? :D
