last week saw my littlest brother's 18th brithday, and that for me marks the beginning of a busy birthday season...
I have about 3.5 weeks til Andy's birthday, and I think I have a present sorted for that, although I have a few other ideas, so we'll see how rich I'm feeling in a couple of weeks (prob no more so than I am right now, but you never now, I *may* get some money from the tax office)
1 week later is Sarah's Happy Cake Day
week after that is my other brother's birthday
couple weeks later is Tigz's
then about a week and a half later is Mum's birthday, and I've seen something I want to get her too, but it still needs confirming that I cant get anything better elsewhere.

so yes, I now have 5 birthdays in the space of 6 weeks (a total of 7 bdays in 10 weeks), my bank balance wont look too healthy after this - not that its looking terribly great as it is! so I may be issuing a few IOU's, which kinda sucks from my point of view... I like giving people presents, I'm the kind of person who does 'just becuase' gifts when I can afford to, or if someone asks me to get something for them, I'll wrap it up even if I know I'm getting the money back... it's just more fun that way... I feel like I suck already
even more so that I dont really know what to get my brohter, or even my friends...

I suppose for my brother, as he's due to finish uni... no that's a duff thought, that's not for another year... anyways, an IOU wont work with mattie, he wont ever cash it in... nor can you give him money... maybe something about french slang, or idioms perhaps... although he has dictionaries for both those already... gr, boys are hard to buy for... maybe some vintage tv series on DVD... ugh, who knows... but I guess I can wait til he comes back from France... so I'll worry more about my friends' presents.. hmmmm...

seeing as I'm not doing anything much else at the moment, maybe I should sit at the sewing machine and do something artsy for them both :) would be personal and unique...
oooh, I feel a fabric shopping trip coming on! :D we have a lovely upholstery fabric outlet just outside town, and I remember seeing a wonderful piece hung on the wall, I think it was actually done up as a headboard, but I remember thinking it would make a funky throw for Tigz... I shall endeavour to investigate that further over the next few weeks
That just leaves Sarah to sort out, and as I know she reads this, I shall not speculate further! :p hehe
